After five years of charging an annual fee for their CNR (click and run) service, Linspire has dropped the annual fee, making the CNR service free. This means Linspire users can now have a free distribution, using a free CNR service. Not to mention the CNR source code is now open.

Makes me think of their marketing strategy:

1) Open source all code to Linspire and CNR
2) ???
3) Profit

Except they'll still make loads from OEMs and things like that.
